Murunkan
It’s been a busy few months for the girls at Murunkan, one of the orphanages in Sri Lanka supported by the charitable foundation, Roots. As well as continuing with their studies, the girls have also found time to indulge in a spot of gardening, and the results of their green-fingered efforts are now starting to show.
“Love In A Box” Gifts
We can also share with you the first pictures of the girls receiving their “Love In A Box” gifts, which are sent to Sri Lanka every year at Christmas on behalf of the Prax Group, to show each girl in the charity’s care that she is being thought of. The day that the gifts arrived seemingly coincided with one of the girl’s birthdays, so it really was a cause for celebration. Anyone for cake?!
